QR code for a business card

Build a vCard business card — name, phone, email and site. The contact is added to the phone in one scan.
Fill in the fields — the code appears instantly

A QR code for a business card holds a contact in vCard format: name, job title, company, phones, email, address, site and social links. After scanning, the phone offers to save all of it to the address book with a single tap — no retyping numbers.

What you can add

  • Name and job title, company name
  • Mobile and work phones
  • Email and website
  • Address and birthday
  • Up to three links: Telegram, VK, a social profile
  • A note — for example, "best to call after 12:00"

The core fields are visible at once, the rest sit under "More fields". Fill in only what you need: empty fields stay out of the code, keeping it compact.

vCard or a link to a page

A vCard QR works offline — the contact is baked into the image and saves without internet. That is a plus for a paper card or badge. The downside: the data cannot change after printing; a new phone number means a new code.

If your contacts change often, encode a link to a card page and update it. For that, use the "Link" type.

Where to place it

  • On a paper business card next to the name
  • On a badge for conferences and expos
  • In an email signature and slides
  • On a company stand and merch

How to check

  1. Scan the code on iPhone and Android — both should offer to save the contact.
  2. Check that the name, phone and email filled in without errors.
  3. Print in SVG or a 1024-pixel PNG, dark on light, with margins.

Add a logo and brand colors so the card looks whole.

If the contact does not save

Check that the name is filled in — without it the phone will not offer to save the card. Many fields and a long note make the code heavier: drop what you do not need. Cyrillic is encoded as UTF-8 and takes more space, so for long data raise the correction level or the print size.
