  3. QR code from a link
Paste a link and get a QR code. Point a phone camera at it to open the site.
Fill in the fields — the code appears instantly

A QR code from a link takes a person to the right page with one tap — no typing the address by hand. Point the camera, tap the popup, and the browser opens the site in a second.

What you can encode

  • A website, landing page or a specific page
  • A social profile, Telegram channel or chat
  • A form, review, menu, PDF or document
  • A link to an app in RuStore, Google Play or the App Store

If you leave out the protocol, the generator adds https:// itself — the code opens even from a short address like pr-cy.ru.

Where it is used

Link codes are printed on business cards, flyers, packaging, price tags, billboards and slides. They move a person from offline to the web wherever dictating a long URL is awkward.

Static and dynamic codes

Our generator makes a static code: the link is baked into the image and does not change. It is free, works with no scan limit and never expires. The one downside: if the page address changes, you regenerate the code. Dynamic codes with link swapping and scan analytics are a separate paid feature of builder services.

How to check it scans

  1. Scan the finished code with two or three phones — iPhone and Android read differently.
  2. Make sure the link opens the right page, not a 404.
  3. For print use a 1024-pixel PNG or vector SVG — it stays sharp when enlarged.

Common mistakes

  • Print too small or the code right at the edge — leave margins around it.
  • Inverted colors, a light code on a dark background — cameras read it poorly.
  • A logo over half the code hides the data. Keep it under a quarter of the area.

Match the colors to your brand, add a logo in the center and download the result.

A short link scans better

A long address with parameters makes the code dense and small. Shorten the link with a URL shortener or drop extra UTM tags — the pattern gets simpler and scans more reliably. If you need click analytics, add the tag to the short link, not the long one, and test the code on a phone after each change to the address.
