What is vibe coding

Vibe coding is an approach where you build a website without writing code: you describe the task in plain words and an AI writes the code. The term was coined in 2025 by Andrej Karpathy, a co-founder of OpenAI. Instead of learning HTML and CSS you say what you want, look at the result and ask for changes — like texting a developer.

In PR-CY vibe coding runs right in the browser: no code editor to install, no separate AI subscription, no hosting to set up. The page is built in the chat, stored in your account and opens by a public link. That is how the examples above were made — landing pages, calculators, quizzes, pricing pages and reports.

What is vibe coding in simple terms?

It means the AI writes the code while you steer it with text: "make the header blue", "add a lead form". No programming languages required — just explain the task like you would to a colleague.

What is an artifact?

A single HTML web page built by the assistant. It is stored in your account and has versions, a public link and an export.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. The page is built from a plain description. You can read and edit the code by hand, but you do not have to.

Which AI builds the site?

The PR-CY assistant runs on modern large language models. There is nothing to pick or configure: describe the page in the chat and the service does the rest.

Can I create a website with AI for free?

Yes. The free plan includes a daily limit of assistant requests — enough to build and publish your first page. If you need frequent edits, upgrade to PRO.

How much does it cost?

It runs in the PR-CY chat, so every request to the assistant spends your plan limits just like a regular chat message. Your balance is shown in the Limits section.

Can I edit the code by hand?

Yes. Switch the preview to the Code tab and press Edit. Saving creates a new version.

How do I show the page to a client?

Press Share settings and get a public link. It opens without signing in and points to the published version.

Can I use my own domain?

No, the public link always lives on a PR-CY domain. For your own domain, download the HTML archive and host it yourself.

What are the limits?

An artifact is one page of HTML, CSS and JavaScript: it runs in the browser but stores no data on a server. An account holds up to 1000 artifacts, each keeping the last 10 versions, up to 10 pinned and up to 10 published at once.
